Description of technology: Plates repair

Our enterprise has acquired a new technology to restore a carrying capability of emergency iron-concrete structures: columns, cross-bars, cover plates and so on.
The technology is based on applying materials by "Isomat". Longitudinal orientated carbon tissues impregnated with polymer materials like canvasses and ribbons are used in the course of work as a carrying capability structure serving alongside or instead of steel armoring. As a repairs result, the carrying capability of the structure is completely restored, the structure's weight doesn't enhance practically hereby.
Repair's scheme:
- removal of the "dead" concrete;
- restoration and protection of steel armoring;
- restoration of geometry of the structure's iron-concrete components;
- the structure's reinforcement by carbon canvasses and lamels.

We have accomplished an experimental repair of the cover plate PKG 3, size 6x1,5. The plate's condition before experiment - emergency, category IV. After repairs and reinforcement the carrying ability of the plate is completely restored. This technology has been used during repairs: iron-concrete plates of building in Krivoy Rog on "KSGO", as well as building on Moskovskaya str.1 in Dnepropetrovsk.
